After completing her nursing degree, Lauren went to work for University Health as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse. Lauren made the decision to further her nursing career and began the program to become a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. While in nurse practitioner school, Lauren furthered her nursing experience by working in various areas such as NICU, Newborn nursery and the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Lauren graduated with a Master’s in Nursing from Northwestern State University in 2018. Lauren focuses on both obstetrical and gynecological conditions. She is trained and certified in procedures such as Nexplanon insertion/removal, Intrauterine device (IUD) insertion/removal, endometrial biopsies (EMB) and colposcopies. Lauren is a member of The National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health (NPWH), Sigma Theta Tau (STI) and the International Nurses Association.

Lauren has been married to her husband Joey for seven years. They have three dogs and expecting their first child in the fall of 2019. I look forward to providing evidence-based quality care to the patients of Women’s Health Associates for many years to come.”
